• CHD specialized equipment not covered by insurance

Eligible applicants may be reimbursed up to $1,500 quarterly for expenses related to CHD complications. Applicants must submit corresponding receipts alongside their application to be considered for this reimbursement program.

Program Requirements

The purpose of this grant is to assist the grantee's expansion of student access to the PLTW Computer Science program. Grantee must use their grant funds to expand their existing PLTW Computer Science program. Example expansion activities include but are not limited to adding an additional PLTW Computer Science course not previously offered, and/or adding additional class periods of an existing PLTW Computer Science courses previously offered, and/or training additional teachers in PLTW Computer Science courses for the 2027-2028 academic year. Grantee must complete one year of grant reporting.

Grantee may implement any PLTW Computer Science courses of their choosing. Grantee must complete two years of grant reporting.

Nonprofit or government organizations improving primary medical or dental care access in Boise County, Idaho can seek up to US $35,000 for one-year projects. Idaho Department of Health and Welfare’s Rural Health Care Access Program supports work in designated HPSA or MUA areas, including community development, telehealth, and recruitment or retention initiatives that strengthen rural health care delivery.

Focused on rural dental health, Idaho Department of Health and Welfare invites Boise County, Idaho nonprofits and government organizations to improve access to primary dental care. Eligible projects serve Idaho Dental HPSA areas and may address community development, telehealth, or recruitment and retention, with awards up to US $35,000 for one-year efforts.

Health Education Scholarships

One of the many keys to maintaining a healthy, prosperous community is ensuring a sustainable supply of excellent health care providers. To achieve this, Samaritan Health Services offers numerous scholarships to local students pursuing careers as doctors, nurses, nurse practitioners and physician assistants, as well continuing education or specialty training for current medical providers.

Nursing Excellence Scholarship

The Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center Nursing Excellence Scholarship was established in 2013 in honor/memory of outstanding Registered Nurses (RNs) at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis, Oregon.

The Nursing Excellence Scholarship is available to eligible students pursuing RN, BSN or MSN degrees who show leadership and clinical expertise and excellence. At least one scholarship is awarded for tuition, books and school fees.

The WaterSMART Applied Science Grants aim to enhance water management and supply reliability through innovative research and data utilization. By inviting qualified entities to apply for funding, the program focuses on improving hydrologic data access, forecasting capabilities, and modeling tools. This initiative aligns with federal priorities to optimize resources, ensuring water managers can effectively address future demands and adapt to climate challenges, thus fostering resilience in water operations across the nation.

For a graduating senior from a high school located in Thomas County, Georgia who has attained at least a 3.0 GPA in high school and is affiliated with the Thomasville YMCA in some capacity such as a member or employee or whose parents are affiliated with the Thomasville YMCA. The award is based on financial need, academic achievement, extracurricular school activities or employment, community service, and leadership qualities.

Attending college or trade school increases opportunity and opens doors to careers. Donor partners who establish a scholarship fund give students a boost on their path to higher education. Students who complete the general scholarship application are considered for these scholarships.

Open to students who are residents of Kent County. Preference to Challenge Scholar students through 2032.
