NVCF’s Youth Advisory Council is excited to announce our Youth Action Project Mini-Grant Program, designed to support grassroots efforts that promote youth mental health, wellness and social connectedness in Butte County.

We believe in empowering local groups and community members to create positive change for young people.

Allowable Expenditures

Grant funds may be used for:

• Program supplies and materials
• Space rental for activities/events
• Facilitation or instruction costs
• Food for program participants (within reason)
• Transportation costs for youth participants
• Marketing/outreach materials
• Other direct program expenses

The BNSF Railway Foundation provides grants to enhance community quality of life across 28 states, focusing on educational, cultural, and social service initiatives. With over $150 million contributed since 2000, the foundation emphasizes projects with strong local engagement and BNSF employee involvement. Carlos Vieira Foundation
