AH27 Adolescent Health Resiliency Competitive Solicitation

The Ohio Department of Health (ODH) Bureau of Maternal, Child, and Family Health announce the availability of funds for the Adolescent Health Resiliency (AH) grant. The Adolescent Health Resiliency and Youth Engagement Initiative seek to strengthen youth resilience and promote trauma-informed communities by building the capacity of adults who work with youth while elevating youth voices in community health planning. This project will expand the existing Adolescent Health Resiliency (AH) train-the-trainer model by equipping youth-serving adults with trauma-informed care knowledge and skills to become trusted adults for adolescents.

In addition, the project will establish youth Engagement Groups (YEGs) that empower youth to actively participate in community decision-making processes. Through collaboration with local health departments and community partners, youth perspectives will be incorporated into Community health Assessment (CHA) and Community Health Improvement Plans (CHIP). The initiative will foster meaningful youth participation, strengthen protective factors for adolescents, and promote community health improvements. 

The grant program will fund up to 11 local community agencies or health departments to implement community-based grants.

Priority will be given to local health departments.

Service Area: Applicants must apply for funds to cover a minimum of one county in the state of Ohio. Counties with smaller population sizes may combine efforts to create an application for two or more counties.

The American Speech-Language-Hearing Foundation (ASHFoundation) invites investigators to submit proposals for up to four research grants ranging from $25,000 to $50,000. The Artificial Intelligence in Communication Sciences and Disorders Research Grant (AI in CSD Research Grant) supports interdisciplinary studies that advance the ethical, clinically and scientifically grounded application and integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into communication sciences and disorders (CSD) practice and service delivery. Specific Objectives of the Funding Opportunity

As part of this initiative, the ASHFoundation invites proposals that implement AI technologies to transform clinical practice, education, and research in CSD. Proposals that are submitted under this funding opportunity must meet the following:

• Include interdisciplinary research teams that integrate clinicians and AI researchers,

The program allows collaborations among multiple Principal Investigators and mandates an external advisory board with patient advocate involvement. Approximately $30M is allocated to fund two applications, each capped at $15M, over a maximum period of four years, with funding contingent on performance milestones.

The FY26 Peer Reviewed Medical Research Program Clinical Trial Award promotes the swift initiation of impactful clinical trials for diseases outlined in specific topic areas. It offers two application categories: Clinical Trial Only and Clinical Trial with Planning Phase, supporting various funding levels based on trial phases and participant counts. The total funding of approximately $94.5M aims to support up to 9 applications, with a maximum award period of 4 years, ensuring significant advancements in medical research.

Contractor for Implementation and Evaluation of Healthy Native Babies Project Materials

This RFP request proposals from Tribes, Tribal Serving Organizations (TSOs) and Urban Indian Organizations (UIOs) [T/TSOs/UIOs] to implement and evaluate the updated Healthy Native Babies Project (HNBP) materials within their service areas.
