Apply for a Hunger Mountain Cooperative Community Fund Grant

Hunger Mountain Co-op wants everyone to feel welcome, and we strive to be an inclusive and anti-racist community.

This year, we will consider requests for grants of $250 to $3,000 and will only fund projects that are designed to support local food systems, food access, and projects that address inequities in the local food system. For our purposes, the local food system includes farmers, producers, food shelves, and organizations working to make food accessible to our community. Your application will be reviewed by the HMCCF Committee and the Co-op’s Council. Scoring criteria is at the bottom of the application. Grants will be announced at our Annual Meeting in September. Submission deadline: Tuesday, June 23, 2026.

By submitting this application, if approved, you give permission to announce the grant award through area media sources and use your organization as a recipient of a HMCCF Grant in promotional material.

The Couch Family Foundation supports nonprofits in the Upper Valley and Martha's Vineyard, focusing on enhancing child and family well-being through equitable opportunities. These grants cover costs for professional development activities aimed at enhancing water quality and organizational capacity. Eligible organizations include 501c3 nonprofits focused on water stewardship. Preference is given to those with previous LCBP contracts exceeding $4,000. Applications are accepted monthly, with awards announced shortly after deadlines.

The Lake Champlain Basin Program (LCBP) offers Small Education and Outreach Project Grants to enhance community awareness about critical issues affecting the Lake Champlain Basin. Healthcare Scholarships

The North Valley Health Education Foundation (NVHEF) provides scholarships to students pursuing healthcare careers who are committed to serving Northern California communities. This application is for students pursuing Advanced Practice degrees (NP, PA, PT, Dietetics, Pharmacy) or attending medical school.

Joshua Esch Mitchell Aviation Scholarship

Open to graduating high school seniors from West Michigan Aviation Academy, or to second year undergraduates from any high school, studying Aviation/Flight Science and have a pilot’s license, with a minimum 2.75 GPA.

Founded in 1996, the Community Foundation of South Georgia is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to making South Georgia a better place to live through effective philanthropy. We help individuals, families, nonprofit organizations and businesses establish and manage charitable funds that carry out their philanthropic interests. Tucker Baptist Association Scholarship

For a high school graduate who is also a member of a church which is part of the Tucker Baptist Association. The applicant must be enrolled in a seminary, Bible college, or other educational institution where they are training for a Christian gospel ministry vocation. This may include but is not limited to, training as a pastoral minister, youth minister, music minister, educational minister, or foreign or home missionary. The training may be a degree program such as a Masters of Divinity, etc., or the training may be a seminar or educational course related to ministry development.

Open to full time undergraduate students who are residents of Kent County, and are a child of a veteran of first responder who was killed or disabled while on duty.
