Undergraduate students majoring in school-based health education at accredited U.S. or U.S. territory colleges can receive a US $1,000 Bill Kane Undergraduate Scholarship for any educational or personal expenses. Offered by the Society of Health and Physical Educators, this award also includes a one-year complimentary student membership, supporting future community health education professionals.

Nonprofit organizations in Rhode Island providing basic human needs such as food, shelter, and healthcare, including community health education, can seek operating or program support from the Grant Sherburne Fund. With a mission to strengthen underserved communities, Uw Urania C Sherburne also allows small program-related capital expenses within these requests.

Nonprofit organizations providing health care or human services to underserved elders in Bristol County, Massachusetts can seek one-year support for community health education and access to primary care. With a mission to promote quality human services and health care programming, Sophia Romero Trust provides operating or program funding, with preference for programs serving older women.

The Asthma-Related Health Disparities Short Term Project Funding Opportunity, offered by the Rhode Island Department of Health, provides funding up to $4,999 for three eligible 501(c)(3) organizations. The program focuses on community engagement to implement CDC’s EXHALE strategies, aiming to improve asthma management and reduce healthcare costs. The program prioritizes health-related public missions and requests that fit within BMS's therapeutic interests, while excluding political, discriminatory, and sectarian organizations.

The PRO 2026-07 Water Safety Leading Grant aims to fund initiatives that enhance water safety for children and families in Hillsborough County. Approved by the Children’s Board of Hillsborough County, the grant focuses on collaborative service delivery addressing urgent community needs. Grantees will provide education, swimming lessons, and safety resources while meeting strategic outcomes.
